Between the 13th and 16th of June, a representative of the University of Extremadura did various monitoring visits to areas where extensive grazing is carried out, in the municipalities of Aguiar da Beira, Tondela and São Pedro do Sul.
This monitoring of the state of pastures was also carried out in places subject to prescribed burning and consists of analysing (density, size, state of development, etc.) the existing plant species in these locations.
Municipal technicians from the Life Landscape Fire project also participated in the monitoring.
