The online sessions for the presentation of the Prescribed Burning and Burn Operator Courses began on January 28th, and the courses started on January 29th.
Promoted by CIM Viseu Dão Lafões, through its Intermunicipal Civil Protection Unit, in the context of the European LIFE Landscape Fire Project, these sessions are aimed at technicians and operators from various structures in the Viseu Dão Lafões region, namely: Forestry Technical Offices, Municipal Civil Protection Services, Municipal Sappers Fire Brigade, Volunteer Fire Brigade, Forestry Sappers, Forestry Producers’ Organizations and the Emergency Protection and Rescue Unit of the Guarda Nacional Republicana.
Scheduled to last until April, these training sessions aim to provide the territory with certified Prescribed Burning Technicians and Burn Operators.
